1. Personal Information we collect

“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual (excluding business contact information when used to contact an individual in his or her business role). We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us (such as your name, address, area of practice, banking and payment information, telephone number, email address and product use information) in requests for information, comments or responses to feedback forms or surveys, and when you sign up for a Merz customer account. In addition, we collect certain Personal Information automatically when you use our website.

2. How we use Personal Information

We use Personal Information as set out in this Privacy Statement, in the Fair Information Notice, or as otherwise specified at the point of collection. We also use Personal Information as permitted or required by applicable law (collectively, the “Purposes”). For example, we use Personal Information in order to (a) provide and deliver products and/or services to you and to manage our relationship with you, (b) respond to your inquiries and requests, (c) notify you about changes to our products and/or services, (d) protect the rights, property or safety of Merz or website users, (e) invite you to participate in research or (f) send updates that you have requested.
