1. Personal Information We Collect
"Personal Information" means information about an identifiable individual as described under Canadian privacy laws. Generally, personal information does not include any business contact information that is solely used to contact an individual in relation to their business role.

In addition, we collect certain Personal Information automatically when you use our website.

2. How We Use Personal Information
We generally use Personal Information as set out in the Fair Information Notice or as otherwise specified at the point of collection. For example, we use Personal Information in order to (a) provide and deliver products and/or services to you and to manage our relationship with you, (b) respond to your inquiries and requests, (c) notify you about changes to our products and/or services, (d) protect the rights, property or safety of Merz or website users, (e) invite you to participate in research, (f) send updates that you have requested, or (g) as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law (collectively, the "Purposes").
We may combine Personal Information about you with the Personal Information of others to create aggregate information that is used to assess how the websites are being used and how to improve the websites. Aggregated data is not considered Personal Information because it cannot be used to identify you.
